Benjamin A. Jacobson
I'm a freelance marketing content strategist/journalist based in eastern Iowa. I have 10 years of experience as a newspaper reporter/editor and I spent the past four years helping major Midwestern agricultural clients with their content strategy.
I’ve twice been recognized by the Iowa Newspaper Association as an outstanding journalist, winning both the Genevieve Mauck Stoufer Young Iowa Journalist Award and the Jay P. Wagner Prize for Young Journalists. I’ve also received numerous individual and group awards for news reporting, and was named a Master Columnist in 2018. My work with the content team at AKC Marketing, of Johnston, IA, contributed to the business being named Agency of the Year by the Iowa chapter of the American Marketing Association in 2021 and 2023.
I live in Dubuque with my wife, three dogs, a bunny and a chinchilla. If it sounds crowded, it absolutely is.
